Live interactive video is simply part of the world we live in right now. For most - if not all - of us, it’s the main way we are connecting on both a personal and professional level. Just how many Zoom calls were you on this week? :-)

Which probably means that you’ve become a lot more comfortable with being on camera and live. So why not turn this new-found confidence into another way to get the word out about your nonprofit.

Today’s episode is all about best practices you should do before, during, and after a Facebook Live to ensure that your on-camera time serves your organization in the best possible way, and that you leverage that work across multiple platforms.

From determining what you’d like to talk about to post-taping tweaks, these are tips that will make your Facebook Live more effective and engaging. Mostly these are strategic approaches, not the techie stuff. For a good “how to” guide for the technical side of going live, I recommend Facebook’s own guide: https://www.facebook.com/facebookmedia/solutions/facebook-live
