#83: My Top 10 (Covid-19 Era) Fundraising Ideas

fundraising marketing strategy podcast Apr 26, 2020

It has been hard times for many nonprofits as passionate, heart-centered professionals to try to market their mission and get the support they need - or just keep things afloat during these unusual times.

Recently, when I asked the almost 200 members of the Smart Marketing for Small Nonprofits Facebook Group what they needed from me most right now, they overwhelmingly said fundraising ideas. Which makes perfect sense; this is the time when we typically host our galas, Spring Flings, and other events that usually involve large gatherings.

So here are my top 10 ideas for virtual fundraisers that you can use now, out of necessity, but that could also be great ways to raise money during “normal” times.

Some are quick and easy, some are variations of the fundraisers you already planned and some are for the “long game,” where you work on them now, but they will pay dividends for a long time to come.
