The end of the year is almost here and while I’m guessing you are deep into your final fundraising push for 2019, I’d like you to take a quick little break with me to think about the coming year.

I don’t know about you, but thinking about the new year always gets me ramped up. It’s like when I was little and getting ready for the first day of school and I had my new clothes and notebooks and pencil carrier and Fraggle Rock lunch box and - oh my gosh, I’m really dating myself, huh?

Anyway…

Today’s podcast is all about those anticipatory feelings and putting it into a strategic plan for 2020. A plan that will make you more confident that you are reaching more people more effectively and setting your nonprofit up for success with superior marketing.

And because I love lists (maybe even more than new notebooks and pencil carriers), this will be a 5+1 plan - five things to do now and one to continue to do throughout the year.

Find out:

  • Why a marketing avatar of your nonprofit’s clients or participants is essential
  • A simple test to see if your key marketing messages are getting through
  • The one thing everyone forgets to budget for in their marketing plan

Here’s to 2020 - and an ever stronger marketing plan for your organization!
