It’s the last podcast of the year, and first of all, a great big huge “Thank You” to all of you who have taken a listen. I can’t tell you how much inspiration I’ve drawn from your stories and struggles and triumphs as you promote the organizations that are changing the world.

And I’d like to return the favor.

We all know that doing marketing for nonprofits is something that takes commitment and courage and heart. Often you are raising your nonprofit’s profile and getting it the support it needs to further its mission on a very limited budget and with little help.

So keeping the inspiration flowing and the overwhelm at bay are essential to doing your best on your nonprofit’s behalf.

This quick podcast talks about some of the things I’ve learned after many years in the field. They’re the coaching and counseling points I bring up with clients when they doubt that they, as marketers, are changing the world. They are a dose of perspective when others question the value of their efforts. And there are some practical things too that might just tame the overwhelm to just - well - whelm.

Throughout the podcast I make mention of several earlier podcasts where I take a deeper dive into the topics discussed today. Here’s the list to get to them.

Happy New Year everyone, and I look forward to seeing you in 2020.
